So.

You have a few things to sell on eBay.

You post some auctions, things sell, buyers pay, and life is good. Right?

Not so fast.

Have you ever herded cattle? I have. The bovines are stupid and obtuse. No matter how carefully you arrange their pens and chutes, they WILL find a way to go the WRONG way. It's the one and only thing they're good at. Like eBay bidders.

I'm not even going to comment much on the following spectacle of humanity. The exchange speaks for itself. Suffice it to say I am sick to the gills of eBay bidders and buyers. I think everyone is.

The auction was for a simple colorimeter. The price was low. There were several bidders. The auction stated clearly that shipping would only be done to US customers. It's standard unless you enjoy getting screwed over by International customers. I don't.

eBay bidder "ambassadorspock3" bid, and bid, and BID on this item, finally beating out a nice US customer. I saw the auction end, and went into the system to send the usual invoice to the winner. It was then I saw the bidder wanted shipping to Australia. For eight bucks.

I'm sick of stupid bidders. I really am. Read some of the eBay Sucks pages to find out how many other sellers are sick of stupid bidders, and read about some of the mind-boggling stunts these bidders pull. It'll make you cancel your eBay account today. Sellers can be sh*tholes too. Take the case of this hairball: theoabma

It seems the first thing stupid people want to do is to try to convince you that YOU are the one that's stupid. Here's the outrageous exchange with ambassadorspock3. The auction had to be relisted because of this dolt -- which then had to be immediately cancelled again because I realized I won't be in town when it ends and would not be available to ship the item. So, for the foreseeable future, the sale of this item is off the table, simply because ambassadorspock3 was too stupid to READ THE GODDAMNED AUCTION, as is so often the case with eBay bidders. eBay has a relatively new policy which prevents sellers from leaving anything but "positive" feedback for buyers. WHAT? Yes, it's true -- buyers can do no wrong in eBay's eyes, even though it's sellers who fund their paychecks. I might have been able to spot this idiot buyer BEFORE he/she ruined this auction, had I been able to see this bidder's feedback -- ALL of this bidder's feedback. But I couldn't. Because eBay doesn't allow it. Thanks so much again, eBay, you really make life miserable for sellers.:

To ambassadorspock3,
This auction clearly states NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING.
Why in God's name did you bid on this!!!???
Dispute filed with eBay.
I don't have the time or the patience for this nonsense.

From ambassadorspock3,
Please look again maybe you need glasses, there is nowhere that states NO INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
there is no nonsense here you need to simmer down some. Dusty  - ambassadorspock3

To ambassadorspock3,
No, YOU get glasses and look again. It's under SHIPPING, SEE ALL DETAILS, SHIP TO: UNITED STATES. Now, you stupid, insulting, ignorant dolt, let me say this again: I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME OR THE PATIENCE FOR THIS NONSENSE!!! Learn to read the $%%#$$ auctions and stop wasting other people's time. You actually thought you were going to get shipping to Australia for eight frikking dollars? YOU are why people have been abandoning eBay by the herd. READ. THE. AUCTION. BEFORE YOU BID. For God's sake this is not rocket science! It's really not! Again: I have filed a complaint with eBay. One more contact from you, regardless of reason or content, will be considered harassment and will trigger a second complaint to eBay. Why not go for it?! In fact, let's go one better. Give it about two weeks and Google your name and address. The public needs to know what to expect from you. You will NOT be receiving this item so don't pay. If you leave negative feedback that will trigger a THIRD complaint to eBay and will be added to your webpage (again, give it two weeks and Google your name and address). All sellers are sick to death of this kind of idiocy from buyers.

In response to the above, instead of mustering up a couple grams of honor and decency, ambassadorspock 3 went straight to eBay and filed a complaint as follows:

Hello MC999,
We received a report about a message you sent to another eBay member. The message you sent doesn't follow our guidelines for using eBay messages and violates our member-to-member contact policy.
"Now, you stupid, insulting, ignorant dolt, let me say this again"
We wanted to let you know about the report and encourage you to learn more about our policy by visiting:
http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/rfe-spam-ov.html
We're taking a neutral position regarding the report we received, but if we continue to receive similar reports, we'll have to investigate. Policy violations can result in a formal warning, a temporary suspension, or an indefinite suspension.

Clearly, ambassadorspock3 thinks he or she is allowed to insult and demean, yet no one else is allowed to reply in like kind. This is the absolute epitome of the stupid, worthless eBay bidder that has driven so many sellers from eBay. If you want to know exactly what kind of people will drive you crazy while selling on eBay, this is a glimpse at the peculiar insanity that seems to too often pervade the bidder pool. Fortunately, I only have a handful of items to eBay off, then I'll close this account and eBay and people like Dusty Ritta can go fuck themselves. I have simply reached the saturation point with these people and my life does not need fools like this in it.
