Please consider this a formal criminal complaint. We're asking for an investigation. We're confident the perpetrator in this case can be identified, and we'll ask at that time for formal criminal charges to be filed.
We run a small school which teaches a beginner tattoo course. Some in the tattoo industry feel that no one else (besides them) should be allowed to enter that industry. Obviously this is the philosophy of the mentally deranged, but it's a common philosophy, held by many, perhaps even the majority. We often receive stupid emails from stupid human beings who somehow believe that they can intimidate us into closing up shop and thereby not producing any more competition for them. We say: May the best artist win.
In any case, sometimes these little sociological prizes go over the top and become threatening. This case is about one such mental case who has threatened physical violence against one of our instructors.

This recorded data is available from our server logs and we're happy to supply you a certified letter giving you access to those logs directly from our host -- that will maintain the integrity of this data. Verizon can easily tell you the name and address of the customer using that IP address at that extant instant. This is one we can nail, and we insist that it be brought to fruition.
This is the second in a series that "MAY" be related. The first occurred on 5-6-2009 at 11:41 Pacific and was routed from this email address ([redacted from public view for now]graphx@gmail.com) through the Craigslist servers as a reply to ad #comm-xybcq-1156336792@craigslist.org. Craigslist is usually willing to supply their logs without a subpoena. We've traced the IP of that sender to a local Comcast customer. We feel it may be the same person, but time will tell. Obviously if we can establish a connection between two people, this becomes a conspiracy case with the resultant greater weight and penalties. If even one of these people actually is in Indiana, we can go for an interstate charge. This former sender is a guy who tattoos out of his bedroom or basement or something like that, and places many area ads stating that he'll perform tattoos for car stereos and whatnot. We believe he may be tattooing his daughter, roughly age five, according to pictures he posts publicly. We'd be surprised if these two low-lifes are not at least related in some way.
Again, we ask (politely at first) that you investigate and send this up for prosecution. We are initiating civil action at this time as well. We also will require your identifying data so we can file an anti-harassment order. It may be that we'll need to file before we can legally obtain the identifying data -- we're willing to do that.
We're as sick of this spineless bottom-feeder mentality as you are. This is a slam dunk. Let's do this one properly, please.

This criminal complaint was first tendered to Seattle PD on 5-29-09. Seattle PD chose, predictably, to utterly and completely ignore the complaint. SPD did NOT forward this complaint to the proper authorities, namely the Fort Wayne, Indiana, police department. This has been a documented pattern with Seattle PD for my entire life, having been born and raised here. I’ve experienced lazier, more incompetent law enforcement in only one locale out of 11 states and three countries; that was in a village along the Mexican border decades ago. In fact, I’m no longer willing to say SPD is even slightly better. It’s now a toss-up.
You will consider this a formal complaint against the Seattle Police department for willfully electing to ignore a criminal complaint in which the possibility of personal injury or death is likely.

Our criminal complaint of Interstate Electronic Harassment and Threats is as follows:
We supply a curriculum which is designed to allow qualified persons to administer a very basic training course to prospective tattoo artists. The idea is to provide a place where people interested in the art of tattoo can obtain basic instruction which teaches the dangers of non-sterile practices, the consequences of tattoos effected by unqualified and untrained “artists”, and to discourage those students from practicing on their little sisters. It’s a bedrock-basic course, which will hopefully allow people to decide if they want to learn how to tattoo properly in the future. Or not.
On 5-6-09 we began receiving insulting (stupid) emails routed through our online public contact form (not via email, but rather through a secure contact form accessible from our website). The sender identified himself as BENTBRUSHGRAPHX@GMAIL.COM, with a phone number of 253-353-4619 (T-Mobile). We received perhaps as many as five idiotic emails, to the effect that our “school” was worthless, our instructors were idiots, and that he was positive our people were teaching incorrect methods to students, etc. This was interesting since our “school” was not operating at the time, had never operated, and our website had only been posted two days before. We had never heard of this nut-ball, nor had we had ever had any dealings with him in any way. His emails weren’t overtly threatening, and we recognized them as simply the idle hands of some lonely imbecile and dismissed them. This is the Internet, after all: God’s own repository for the unwashed masses. Still, we were curious who this fool was, so we did a little cursory background checking on him, so we’d have some data to operate with if he ramped up his obnoxiousness. At this point, his emails were protected 1st Amendment speech and nothing more. We’re BELIEVERS in the 1st Amendment, even when the insane disseminate their unbaked opinions.
We discovered that he uses the “handle” of “UnderTheGunTat2” on his website at the following URL:

His “business” name appears to be “Bent Brush Graphx”, located in Auburn, Washington, and/or Symbolic Tattoo Studio in Puyallup. His website used to feature a picture of a young girl (we’re guessing age 5) who appears to be sporting a tattoo on her shoulder. Presumably this is meant to portray the notion that this guy will tattoo children – we can see no other purpose for such an illustration. We found numerous Craigslist ads placed apparently by this guy, offering to do “Any tattoo for $1”, or “Will do a tattoo in trade for a car stereo”, etc. etc. ad nauseam. The discovery of these ads caused our estimation of this hairball to plummet a few hundred meters. Clearly, in our view, this guy was a First Class bottom-feeder.

(these have rolled off the Craigslist servers long ago, but may be recovered simply by asking CL for copies on any law enforcement letterhead; CL maintains copies of all ads ever placed, back to CL’s inception)
We also browsed around and found a few references to or by this guy in “Photobucket”. Apparently that’s a place he frequents.
We ignored this person, never replied in any way, shape or form, figuring he’d sooner or later go away, as most such crock-pots do. And he did go away. Or at least he APPEARED to go away. We have a hunch, however, based on a few facts, that he had grown frustrated with not being able to tell us what he REALLY thought, but he realized that he had made an initial mistake: he had initially used his real email address, and he was probably afraid that if he really ramped his rhetoric up, he might be traceable. We believe that he may have then recruited a friend associated with a tattoo parlor in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to solidly, specifically, explicitly and seriously threaten our safety and our lives.

Again, this was curious, as no student had been through our training course. Obviously this is a blatant, calculated, specific notice of intent to do one or more of us bodily harm, or, indeed, to cause one or more fatalities at our school. The level of viciousness from this sender was over the top. We’ll use the word “insane” to describe it.
No one would roll over for this kind of crap, so we immediately set out to stop it. We sent a complaint to the Seattle Police Department. As expected, that complaint was ignored. We then filed for an anti-harassment order against “John Doe / IP: 71.97.158.245” in Seattle. The temp order was immediately granted. That gave us subpoena authority. We hired an attorney specializing in this type of thing and she served the subpoena to Verizon. Verizon eventually complied with the subpoena and supplied us with the name and address of the account owner through whose broadband Internet account the message had been sent. Verizon also advised that account holder that we had subpoenaed the data and that they had complied.

We believe it’s likely that either of two scenarios are in play: (1) Ed Bishe sent the threats himself on his own initiative, possibly at the urging of our little flower in Auburn, UnderTheGunTat2. We did find references to the handle “UnderTheGunTat2” in Fort Wayne tattoo forums. Or (2) The tattoo parlor next door to The Viking Sewing Center [REDACTED]. Obviously the perpetrator(s), whoever it turns out to be, was/were mistaken, as all such mental midgets usually are.
To reiterate: This is a formal complaint against SPD for failure to investigate. That is, sadly, SPD’s SOP. They are, in our view, not only as worthless as tits on the proverbial boar, but are, in fact, a documented liability to decent society. We have almost never seen any law enforcement agency act so irresponsibly or lackadaisically so routinely over such a period of decades or even generations. We’ve lived where law enforcement works. The difference between those places, and Seattle, are as dramatic, literally, as night and day.
This is also a criminal complaint of harassment and threats. This must be forwarded to the Fort Wayne PD. We realize that SPD has a standing policy of NOT forwarding misdemeanor complaints to any other agency, but instead just filing them circularly, never even bothering to inform the complainant of their actions. This is reprehensible, but it’s SPD in all its glory. We submit, however, that (1) this is not a misdemeanor, but a Felony, and (2) it SHALL be forwarded to Fort Wayne PD, even if we have to obtain a court order forcing SPD to do so. Period.
We’ve already solved this case. This is work that SHOULD have been done by law enforcement, at law enforcement’s expense. As usual, it wasn’t done correctly by law enforcement – it wasn’t done AT ALL.
Fort Wayne may need access to our server logs, through a company called “Servint”. I believe the server is physically located in Texas. We’re happy to supply a letter to Fort Wayne PD allowing unlimited access to those logs, upon Fort Wayne’s request.

The attached letter is self explanatory.
I was the lucky recipient of a threatening email way back in May of 2009 (see attached).
I immediately contacted SPD, in writing, in the form of a complaint.
SPD, as usual, couldn’t be bothered to respond.
I then hired an attorney and tracked down the culprit(s) using a subpoena served on Verizon.
I again sent a complaint to SPD; SPD could not, as usual, be bothered to respond.
I then sent the attached complaint against SPD to the KCSO; As expected, KCSO could not be bothered to reply.
I also contacted the Seattle Mayor’s office. As expected, they replied (it’s really not a bad office in terms of making it appear as though they’re actually doing something); as expected, however, they were utterly impotent. They’ve claimed that SPD has attempted to contact us; we’ve received no such contact attempt. Our hunch is that SPD tells the Mayor’s office they do a lot of things that they don’t actually do.
This is the usual run-around many citizens encounter when trying to file a dog-simple complaint in this region. I’ve been through this same song and dance before and I’ve documented those experiences on the Net. I’ve documented the very same lackadaisical behavior in your office as well, in this state and another. I suspect this all puts me on a “secret list” which serves to make SURE I get an extra helping of run-around whenever I feel the need to interact with you people. Unfortunately, I simply continue to document the phenomenon.
This case is as disgustingly simple as it gets. Upon receipt of my original complaint, way back in May of 2009, SPD could have merely responded to me, then gone after the perpetrator, as any decent law enforcement agency should. But SPD can NEVER take the simple or expedient course. They must ALWAYS muck things up by being petulant, obstructionistic, petty, even downright stupid – maybe even corrupt. That’s the culture that has been fostered for far too long in all western Washington law enforcement circles. I no longer believe it will ever change.
I am filing the attached complaint with you and asking that the complaint be investigated as a threat to do bodily harm (interstate electronic harassment and threats) and sent on to the Fort Wayne, IN. PD as is the proper procedure.

All offices above have, over the past six months, received copies of all documents enclosed herein via registered mail. This current registered mailing merely documents, again, your receipt of these documents and complaints, and brings to your attention the fact that, since filing the initial complaint with SPD way back in April or May of 2009, we have received NO RESPONSE from ANY agency or office except the Seattle Mayor’s office, which, as predicted, accomplished less than nothing.
At this time we believe can demonstrate beyond any doubt to any court that the law enforcement agencies listed above have conspired to purposely and concertedly refuse to acknowledge or act on any of these complaints. This is in direct violation of your charters. Your motivation for this nonsense is anyone’s guess; you aren’t exactly known for your logic.
These documents are posted publicly. We are working with our attorney to put all of our “ducks in a row” in this matter; at the appropriate time we will file suit against one or more of you (SPD will be first), and we will approach all media venues available to us to expose your reprehensible behavior in this matter. You folks truly are the scum of the earth.

(1) We demand that the Seattle Police Department respond to the original complaint, in writing, with a case number. We demand that SPD forward our original complaint, with all documents contained herein, to the Fort Wayne, Indiana PD for investigation and prosecution. For God’s sake – we’ve already solve the G—damned case for you at our expense (see documentation contained in the attached letters), yet you folks are too lackadaisical, unprofessional and incompetent to even forward the case on. (2) We demand that the KCSO respond to our complaint against SPD. KCSO has a long and depressing history, well documented across the web, of simply ignoring complaints. We now believe that KCSO is utterly and completely corrupt. You are invited to explain to the court why you refuse to acknowledge this complaint against SPD. You’ve received it twice now by registered mail. If you intend to ignore the complaint, then you must write a simple letter to us and explain your position, and the logic that brought you to that conclusion. It’s simply how things are done among civilized people and agencies. It is unprofessional and incompetent in the EXTREME to think you may simply ignore any complaint without a justification of your position. EVERYONE knows this – except YOU.
(3) We demand that the FBI acknowledge our complaint against SPD and KCSO. We have seen this disgusting behavior in the FBI on several occasions. It is despicable and shows your (the FBI’s) Seattle office to be made up of the lowest-possible caliber of human being. If you intend to ignore the complaint, then you must write a simple letter to us and explain your position, and the logic that brought you to that conclusion. It’s simply how things are done among civilized people and agencies. It is unprofessional and incompetent in the EXTREME to think you may simply ignore any complaint without a justification of your position. EVERYONE knows this – except YOU.
(4) We demand the name and address of the office/agency which oversees the FBI’s Seattle office, and which is appropriate to receive and handle a complaint of corruption within the FBI’s Seattle office.
All replies should be tendered to the address listed below. If you choose not to reply, again, you will, we promise, sooner or later end up facing a judge and stammering to explain why you steadfastly refused to acknowledge and properly handle a very formal complaint. Handling complaints is what you’re PAID TO DO. Remember? We’re sorry you have obviously chosen to forget that.
Again we put it to you: This ALL could have been avoided had SPD simply issued a case number in response to our original written complaint of April/May of 2009, then forwarded the case onward to the Fort Wayne PD. My God, cases do not GET any simpler or easier to handle. If SPD can’t handle THAT, then what in God’s name CAN they handle? Anything at all? Seriously, can SPD accomplish ANY. TASK. AT. ALL? Unfortunately, Seattle PD couldn’t muster the simple professionalism to process this excruciatingly simple case – indeed, they could not muster the simple human courtesy to do that, even though it is their JOB to do that. And so now we find ourselves on the brink of a lawsuit which will ask the court to FORCE all agencies listed above to simply DO. THEIR. JOBS. We’re sorry this seems to be rocket science to you, and apparently beyond the horsepower capabilities of your little Briggs and Stratton brains, but that, indeed, seems to be the FACT. We find that fact to be sincerely depressing, and, actually, downright scary. Is there one single thing you folks can do without screwing it up. Just one? In May of 2009 we received a very explicit threat of violence or death through the Internet. We immediately sent a complaint to SPD. Since that date SPD has steadfastly, conspicuously refused to respond, even though we have continued to deliver registered letters to them and to other agencies demanding that they do so. We call this corruption. We now consider the Seattle Police department to be corrupt beyond all redemption.
We ask that you review the enclosed material, and process this complaint in accordance with your charter.
We also ask that you advise us of any and all known methods and means of forcing the Seattle police department to simply DO. ITS. JOB – namely, to forward this complaint to the appropriate authorities in Indiana, which is all we’ve asked for since day-one. It ain’t Rocket Science and the fact that in nearly a year of being bombarded by us with registered letters, not only can SPD not figure out how to accomplish the task, they cannot muster the simple professionalism or common human decency to respond to our complaints. Not once.
It is clear to us, and the documentation bears this out, that Seattle PD is engaged in a willful, conscious scheme to deny us due process in this matter. I don’t believe any judge would or could possibly come to any other conclusion. We are initiating efforts to interest local and national media in this case. We are exploring methods of bringing this before a judge in the hopes of obtaining a court order that will FORCE SPD to simply do its job. It’s shocking, reprehensible and disgusting that any citizen must go to such lengths to accomplish that. Does SPD employ nothing more than a gaggle of G—damned, stupid pot-heads? Seriously, this isn’t a rhetorical question. We want to know, because at present, we absolutely believe that to be the case. NO ONE could have screwed this up any worse. Note that our very first complaint to SPD was polite. We knew – we KNEW SPD would screw this up, because they screw EVERYTHING up, but we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt in that first complaint way back in May of 09. Once they demonstrated that they would run true to form, we abandon all insincere cordiality. With the exception of the state patrol, who we have found over the years and decades to be singularly honorable, helpful, hardworking and of value, we (the citizens involved and interested in this case) no longer believe that we could interact with any Washington state law enforcement agency in any semblance of civility. We see these people as the absolute scum of the earth. We have zero respect remaining for them. Absolutely none. Not one bloody scintilla.

Yours is the FIRST response we’ve received in this case from ANY law enforcement agency regarding this case.
You state that you tried to contact us by telephone. Why? No telephone number was supplied with any of our contacts; no telephone reply was solicited. Until recently we owned a printing business with numerous numbers associated with it, some of those being merely spares tossed in a drawer, some used by employees, some dedicated as fax or data lines – why would you try to contact us via a method that was not supplied to you? We don’t know what number(s) you may have called, if any, but such was not an appropriate means of contact, given that we have supplied every agency, in every correspondence, with our contact point as follows (here once again for the record):

You state that you must have our “valued participation” no later than Jan. 20th, 2010. That stipulation is herewith met, and we heartily invite you to proceed with your investigation of why Seattle PD, the King County Sheriff’s office, and the Seattle office of the FBI have steadfastly, resolutely, consciously REFUSED to respond to this complaint, sent to them repeatedly, numerous times over the past 7 or 8 MONTHS. “WE” know the answer – it is because we have spoken out publicly in years past about laziness, malfeasance and downright corruption in local law enforcement agencies and we’ve documented those problems on the Net. In a kind of childish retaliation, SPD, KCSO, and the Seattle office of the FBI have consciously decided (and probably conspired together) to simply ignore any complaints we might send to them documenting crimes and criminal activity. It’s Just. That. Simple. Given subpoena authority and an unlimited budget we’d LOVE to see what communications we could uncover within and between these rogue agencies.
Investigate the problem if you will – we know, and you know, the matter will be eventually deemed “inconclusive”. It’ll be white-washed, swept under the proverbial rug, and forgotten, and law enforcement in Western Washington will continue on as it has always, and always will. Request any testimony from us you like. We’re happy to provide it. But we trust you not at all, and will interact with you only in writing, and we promise no confidentiality whatsoever.
The meat of this matter is that we have been struggling since April of 2009 to simply compel SPD to process a complaint of criminal activity that we have filed with them repeatedly over all these months (you have copies). The case has already been solved for them by our efforts and finances; all they need do, all they have EVER needed to do, was forward the case on to the Fort Wayne, Indiana, PD. That’s it! It ain’t Rocket Science! It doesn’t overburden SPD in any way (well, actually, maybe it does, cerebrally). But that’s all that need be done, and we are appealing to YOU to see to it that this has been done, and to advise us, in writing, that it has been done. Once we have a case number we’ll then direct any further inquiries or documents to the FWPD, and SPD can go suck an egg. SPD is, bluntly, as worthless as tits on a boar. We have truly never seen anything like it. Hopefully, FWPD will be found to be about 100,000 times more professional than SPD, and they can make a nice, easy case and get it prosecuted. Honestly, we don’t see how SPD goes to the damned bathroom by themselves, or finds their way home at night after their shifts. We lived for awhile along the Mexican border on both sides. Law enforcement there was virtually non-existent. In fact it was far worse than worthless – it was a negative value, a liability, a burden on the populace IN ADDITION to fighting against the criminal element. Much like Seattle.
Please ask, in writing, for whatever you need in terms of “testimony”, but what we’d really value most is to merely get this complaint forwarded on to the Fort Wayne PD so that it can be properly processed. Really, that should NOT be too difficult, right? Is there a REASON this has never been done? What is the reason? THAT is the $64,000 question.

1-20-2010: The reader may wish to add up the number of times in all of the above letters to various government and law enforcement agencies, shown above on this page, in which we advised them, adamantly, that we would NOT interact with them by phone. This is because they have demonstrated time and again that THEY LIE. It's common --even nearly guaranteed-- that law enforcement agencies in this region will simply lie about what was said in a telephone conversation or, indeed, any conversation they think has not been recorded. THAT is why we won't deal with them verbally. If we speak with them on the phone, we're then put to the trouble of recording the call and subsequently TRANSCRIBING the conversation for our records. That's a royal pain in the arse. So, to save all that silliness, we just ask that all correspondence be IN WRITING. Simple, huh? Of course it is. On this date, in response to the above letter, an officer named Steve Hirjak actually went to the trouble of tracking down the telephone number of the business at the address we use as a mailing contact point for the purposes of this case. It wasn't OUR phone number Steve Hirjak looked up-- it was the phone number of the business which owns the building in which our mailing address is located. Steve Hirjak then proceeded to leave a message with employees of that business, asking us to CALL HIM at the following number: 206-684-0395. He also advised that employee of the case number for this incident. For WHAT incident? Our complaint of police corruption? Or our complaint of interstate electronic harassment? Steve Hirjak then proceeded to advise the employee of that business that we could always just contact the FBI to have the matter of harassment taken care of, and he proceeded to spell out the URL of the FBI's website. --Sort of makes the brain boil, doesn't it? Clearly this man, Steve Hirjak, hasn't read one single word of our complaint(s). If that's the case, he's not competent in his job and should be let go. OR....he HAS read our material and isn't bright enough to comprehend it. If that's the case, he's not smart enough to perform one single task in his job description, and should be let go. OR....he's hoping to so frustrate and obfuscate this case that we just give up and, as usual, SPD continues on as always -- stupid and/or corrupt. So what do we do at this point? We write yet another letter, and send it by registered mail, as always, to one Steve Hirjak, advising him to READ THE FUCKING COMPLAINT...and if he STILL doesn't grasp it, then he should SEND IT UP TO SOMEONE WHO DOES. Or maybe we'll just send him yet another copy of this website. And these people wonder why "the folks" lose respect for their government. THIS. IS. WHY.

I am in receipt of your telephone message of last week, in which you looked up the telephone number for the business that owns the building which we use as a mailing address in certain cases; you called that business and discussed this case with them, and asked them to contact me and ask me to call you. This is ten thousand degrees beyond unprofessional and unethical. Let me recap a few lines from previous letters to you and your department:
10-19-09: I’ll interact with law enforcement and government agencies in this region in writing only. As far as I’m concerned, you folks are about three-quarters clinically insane, and…
11-28-09: We demand that the Seattle Police Department respond to the original complaint, in writing, with a case number…
1-13-2010: …we trust you not at all, and will interact with you only in writing…

If I MUST interact with crazy people, I want everything in writing, in black and white, so when you come back six months from now and claim you said THIS or THAT, or that “I” said THIS, or THAT, there will be a clear written record of the FACTS that can be referred to and followed up on. If we needed ANY more proof that you folks are crazy, we need only direct the reader to the above few paragraphs. You’ve been instructed, IN WRITING, for months now, to deal with us IN WRITING. So what do you do? You call a business that has nothing to do with me, and discuss this case with them, and ask them to have me call you! The closest connection to that company I have is that a woman who works there is a girlfriend – not even a wife! And I’m not sure you even talked to her!
You also stated to the person you spoke with at the business that “all I had to do was go to the FBI’s website and file the complaint of harassment [against the party in Indianna]”.
In point of FACT, Mr. Hirjak, I have been writing to the FBI and submitting this complaint over and over and over via registered mail for some SIX BLOODY MONTHS now, and I have NOT ONCE received a reply or acknowledgement of ANY KIND, even when I have blatantly, obnoxiously demanded it, nor do I EVER expect to receive a reply from what I finally consider a rogue agency. I’ve now delivered three letters to them via registered mail demanding to know the name and address of the office which oversees the Seattle Bureau, so I can file a complaint against the Seattle office. I’ve received not one reply, and I never will, because they are corrupt, dishonest, unprofessional, arrogant and again, as worthless as tits on the proverbial boar. JUST. LIKE. SPD. This held true when I ran an Internet retail company and turned in complaints of documented and proven credit card fraud to the FBI’s website on a regular basis. NOT ONCE in all those years did I receive a single reply. You sanctimoniously advised the person you spoke with on the phone of the URL of the FBI’s website! Please understand that thousands of us have painstakingly researched the whole FBI complaint process for at least five years, trying to find some way other than their complaints website to get through to them. To date, as far as I know, NO ONE has succeeded. Please do NOT embarrass yourself further by even remotely suggesting that we should complain to the FBI. The FBI is a write-off, a black hole, a joke, a scam, a fraud – whatever the hell you want to call it; it’s less than worthless because it wastes everyone’s time, because they’re thinking their problem is being looked at or investigated when it is not.
I had two friends years ago, a deputy and an undersheriff, who were sick of corruption in their town, so they began to document it. Over the course of two years they documented several dozen cases in which two of the three judges in town had stolen goods delivered to them by local crooks. They then dismissed charges against the crooks, and sold the goods for a split of the loot (penny-ante stuff, at best). Then these two went to the FBI with their records and testimony. Six months later, nothing had happened, so they went BACK to the FBI (in person). The FBI had no record of their original complaint. Both quit the force (sheriff’s department) that afternoon. One died of a heart attack shortly thereafter. The other disappeared. THAT is the NORM in ALL of my experiences with the fucking FBI, even in my “law enforcement” days, so please do NOT suggest that all I need do is go to their website and all will be made right. They’re as worthless as you are and I’ll no longer waste my time on them.
Please understand that this entire fiasco is being painstakingly documented on the WWW. If ANYONE had any doubts as to why we would require our interactions with you to be in writing, those doubts are surely explained away when they read these transcripts! They can see for themselves what it’s like trying (struggling) to effect what should have been the simplest-possible interaction with you people! They can see for themselves that you’re just plain crazy!
Once again, for the record – and you will sign for this registered letter as you have all the rest over the past eight or nine months—we require that any and all interactions with you be IN WRITING. No interaction with you will be confidential, even if you ask it, even if you demand it, even if you stipulate it. The people who pay your wages have a right to see how you operate so they can make an educated decision as to whether to use your services or not – and whether or not to keep you in your jobs. At this point we see NO reason to use you folks at ALL, for ANYTHING. Dealing with you is like trying to deal with some hillbilly cable company – it’s an exercise in apoplexy.
In your telephone message you supplied a case number as follows: 2010-22xxx. Unfortunately you didn’t say if that number is for the internet harassment case, or for our complaint of malfeasance (stupidity and/or corruption) in SPD’s handling of the complaint. Which is it, and is this the correct number (which now comes to me about third-hand), and has the harassment case finally, finally been sent on to the Fort Wayne PD? And if yes, why on God’s Green Earth did it take EIGHT FREAKING MONTHS!?
You’ve asked me to return a call to 206-684-0395. For what? If you have questions, please type them out (many people, including me, can type far faster than they can talk anyway), and send them along IN WRITING. If you have some mysterious aversion to the US Mail Service, then by all means email them to xxxxxxxxxx. That account is plenty secure for our purposes here. Translation of SPD's time-wasting letter (above):
After eight (8) months(!) we've grudgingly issued a case number for your harassment complaint, but not for your complaint of corruption within the Seattle Police Department. We'll handle that one privately (wink). We won't be sending your harassment complaint to ANY agency that might stand a snowball's chance in Hell of solving the case and bringing charges. Why? Because we just don't feel like it [for forty years at least it has been standard policy to automatically forward such cases to the local authority (we have that in writing from SPD)-- in this case, the Fort Wayne, Indiana Police Department]. We're stating, for the record, that you COULD have sent this to the FBI if you "really" wanted it solved, but since you "chose not to do that", well..... [a copy of the unanswered complaint we DID send to the FBI is posted above and has been sent to SPD repeatedly via registered mail].
Bottom line:
Nothing will be done about the bizarre corruption / malfeasance that permeates the Seattle Police Department from top to bottom like a Goddamned cancer. Nothing will EVER be done to clean that resource up.
We doubt that any real action will be taken on case #2010-22238. Since the case is going to stay under the jurisdiction of Seattle PD, we can virtually guarantee they'll do nothing, or as little as possible. Even though the crime has already been essentially solved at our expense, SPD will fumble it henceforth such that no charges are ever filed. The flub won't be accidental; it'll be purposeful and premeditated. That's why SPD elected to keep the case for itself, rather than to forward it on to Fort Wayne -- they wanted to make sure it never came to fruition. Fort Wayne would have solved it in eight minutes flat.
We'll send a registered letter to SPD every few months to inquire of their progress. We doubt they'll reply because there will BE no progress. In five years the statutes will run out and the case will be dismissed. --Except...for one thing: We've been through this before with Seattle PD and western Washington "law enforcement". At some point, well before the statutes run out on this crime (it's technically seven years, but practically-speaking after 5 years nothing is pursued by the system), we'll invoke an option called "due process". The procedure is that you petition a judge and provide documentation demonstrating that neither law enforcement nor the city attorney has done its job and gone after the criminal. The judge then grants you a kind of license to file charges yourself, by-passing law enforcement and the prosecutor's office. THAT is the only way this crime will ever be punished, and we're more than prepared to take it to that level. We really, really hate cowards. Thirty years ago things like this were settled man-to-man in an alley. Now, however, society is "evolved", and in order to settle a simple matter like this, the above webpage is just the beginning of what the citizenry is put through.
This website has performed about 80% of what it was designed to demonstrate: Welcome to Seattle, folks. This is how it's done here. This is how it's always been done. This is how it always will be done. We can now say, with authority, that Seattle has the most corrupt, the most lackadaisical, and the most incompetent police force in these United States -- except when it CHOOSES, at its whim, to do better. This level of incompetence and corruption is arguably now as bad as what we've seen, personally, in Mexico along the border, even on the south side.
